Research

The Dyers’ Company Research Medal is awarded annually to what is judged to be the most worthy research-oriented paper which has been published during the previous twelve months in the journal published by the Society of Dyers & Colourists, in collaboration with Wiley, entitled Coloration Technology.

Our History

In our History section, we are developing an archive of elements of our Company history both in our present hall and in previous halls on this site or on the banks of the river. the 1666 Great Fire accounted for pretty well all of the Dyers records and, not surprisingly in view of the traumas, they were not reconstituted. Indeed as far as one can tell, the original Dyers Hall, dyehouses and wharf were between Cannon st and Southwark bridges.
